Twelve students and two teachers from Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus Secondary School (CHIJ) in Singapore visited us for two days, reciprocating our girls’ visit to their school in July 2024. The two days, though short, proved to be an enlightening experience for both our girls and their counterparts, with our CHIJ friends participating in classes, extra-curricular activities, and various other aspects of school life with their S2 school buddies. We look forward to further fruitful exchanges in the future years to come.
Ten students from our partner school in Australia, Methodist Ladies’ College, participated in a 1.5 week immersion programme at our school. Attending classes and extra-curricular activities with their buddies, our young guests got a taste of school life at DGS, including the academic curriculum and pedagogy, as well as an introduction to the Chinese cultural arts through music, dance, and visual arts. Home staying with our S2 girls, they were also exposed to various aspects of life in Hong Kong.
