Ten students from our partner school in Australia, Methodist Ladies’ College, participated in a 1.5 week immersion programme at our school. Attending classes and extra-curricular activities with their buddies, our young guests got a taste of school life at DGS, including the academic curriculum and pedagogy, as well as an introduction to the Chinese cultural arts through music, dance, and visual arts. Home staying with our S2 girls, they were also exposed to various aspects of life in Hong Kong.
Ten students from Zhixin High School visited DGS on an exchange program from 13th to 16th of March, reciprocating our girls’ visit to their campus in November of last year. It was an enlightening experience for both parties, as we compared notes on the similarities and differences in our learning environments and extra-curricular activities. The visitors also enjoyed our Hong Kong culture through various activities, field trips and sharings.
We are honoured and privileged to be able to welcome students from our sister school to DGS, as lifelong friendships are forged between the girls despite the geographical distance. We look forward to further fruitful collaborations in the years to come.
