To promote a positive mindset and sporting values among Hong Kong students, the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation, Hong Kong Direct Subsidies Scheme Schools Council and EF Education First co-organized a joint-school Olympic Champion talk on 17^th March 2018.

Famed Olympic track and field gold medalist DeeDee Trotter, who is currently on a world tour, shared her inspirational story of how she overcame adversity to compete in the Olympics on successive occasions. The event attracted 300 students and teachers from over 20 schools throughout Hong Kong. They were greatly touched and inspired by DeeDee's very energetic and lively sharing, with many staying on for the chance to take pictures with this legendary athlete.
