The International Blockchain Olympiad (Greater Bay Area) is an annual competition inviting students to propose solutions to real-world problems using blockchain technology. The Olympiad combines the practicality of traditional case competitions with the open-ended problem-solving culture of hackathons.
The GBA IBCOL was successfully held on 5-7th August 2022 via the virtual platform “Gather Town”. 7 teams consisting of 18 girls from the DGS Blockchain Club achieved outstanding results, capturing a total of 16 awards, including Awards of Merits, Top Secondary Track Awards, Category Prizes in the Healthcare, Education, Legal and Financial sectors, and the Bronze Prize.
