In the past year, teaching and learning at DGS continued unabated despite the pandemic. With the help of teachers in the Computer Department, our team of girls comprising Fung Sze Ching Evelyn, Lam Hei Ting Alicia, Lee Hei Tung Christy, Lam Yan Tung Jovie, Chu Christina Yuui created an app that helps teenagers to relieve their stress by means of art therapy. Their creation, AiAo, short for Art in Anxiety out, won the Championship in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2019 competition.

Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is an annual international campaign that encourages students across the globe to use STEM to solve problems affecting their communities. Among 1.7 millions participants across 23 countries, our girls and the U.S. winner were the ones chosen to share their experiences in Samsung's official promotional video produced by the Wall Street Journal.
