In celebration of God's guidance, blessings and protection over the School in the past 155 years, the School held a special thanksgiving service. During a season when the world traditionally celebrates Thanksgiving, the School was joined by The Most Revd Dr. Paul Kwong, Archbishop and Primate of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui; the Revd Dale Hanson, Interim Vicar of St. Andrew's Church; and the School Supervisor, Mrs. Doris Ho.
The School Choir and Symphony Orchestra presented majestic accompaniment for the audience to lift up praise to the Lord, ultimately ending the service on a stirring rendition of 'Bless This House'. It is a fitting testament to how He has given us the gift of music so that we can glorify His name.
Athletics Meet is truly a time for the whole School to meet on the track and enjoy a day of jubilant exercise. For two afternoons at Wanchai Sportsground, runners gave their all for their houses while their housemates cheered them on with ever escalating enthusiasm. As the day drew to a close, the cheers rose to a rousing roar as our Headmistress, teachers and old girls joined the students for the Invitation Relay and Fun Run. Thanks must be given to teachers, school staff and student officials for the smooth running of the event and to Mrs. Sherlynn Chan Wong, Chairlady of PTA, for joining us and presenting prizes to the winners.
