8 & 29 November 2016 -- Inter-house Athletics Heats and Finals

The Wanchai Sports Ground buzzed with excitement as the whole school gathered on the 8th and 29th November for the annual Inter-house Athletics Meet. Whether on the track or the field, girls displayed their strength and agility as they thrust javelins and shotputs, leaped over hurdles and crossbars, and sprinted through finish lines. Spectators likewise cheered on their housemates with energetic enthusiasm, each house wowing audiences with brilliantly choreographed track dances during the Cheering Competition.

The Finals Day events ended with the anticipated Invitation Relay, where teachers' teams were joined by two groups of old girls, as students supported them with loud cheers and applause. The whole school then reconvened in a 400-metre Fun Walk around the field, before gathering to celebrate and thank our P.E. teacher, Mr. K.L. Tang, for his three decades of service to the school. The Guest of Honour, Ms. Ho Mo-ki, Chief School Development Officer (Yau Tsim Mong District) of the Education Bureau, was invited to present and awards to the athletes, closing off this year's Athletics Meet.

30 September 2016 -- PTA AGM

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the School’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA), and parents and teachers alike gathered in the School Auditorium to celebrate at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). We were also honoured to have past chairpersons of the PTA with us on this special occasion.

Those present were treated to special performances before the start of the meeting by choirs from both the Junior and the Senior School, who graced the stage with their music from this past summer at the International Children's Choir Festival in the United Kingdom and the 3rd Singapore International Choral Festival respectively.

Formal proceedings also included a cake-cutting ceremony, honouring the six decades of the PTA's tireless efforts to bring together parents and teachers in close communication for the benefit of our girls. To end the evening, parents then had the opportunity to meet their girls' teachers for informal discussions on school life and academics.
