Four girls from DGS were invited by the Department for International Trade of the United Kingdom to showcase their STEAM project in the Learning & Teaching Expo 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 8 December 2021. The team comprising Trinity Ding (2X), Ng Hiu Tung (2X), Jasmine Leung (2Y), Sylvia Luk (2Y) and their IT teacher created an artificial intelligence program that allows Marty the Robot to read and understand music notations. The program was demonstrated to the visitors with the girls playing live music together with Marty the Robot. Their demonstration and music performance were highly praised by the visitors, including Mr. Brian Davidson CMG, British Consul General, Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR.
