In a break from classes at the beginning of the school year, the school community enjoyed two exciting mornings of inter-school swimming competitions at the Sun Yat Sun Memorial Park Swimming Pool and the Kowloon Park Swimming Pool respectively.

The pool area and spectators stands were brimming with anticipation as swimmers demonstrated their speed and stamina while their peers cheered them on with great enthusiasm. Sawyer House successfully defended their title as Champion of the Cheering Competition, amid stiff competition from the other houses with their rhythmic, carefully choreographed chants and slogans. Despite falling behind in the heats, the visually spectacular relay events saw Skipton House eventually emerging victorious as the Overall Champion.

The events culminated with the Teachers Line-Throw, where staff members, spurred on by their students and colleagues, accomplished the life-saving feat with ease. Our Guest of Honour Mr. Fu Yan Hao, visiting swimming coach of the Hong Kong Sports Institute, then presented the winners' medals and prizes to our girls. We are grateful to all students, staff, parents and old girls who came to support our swimmers and we thank them for making this two-day event a smooth and successful one.
