On Monday, 7^th November the DGS Swimming Team, comprising 49 swimmers, competed in the finals of the Inter-school Swimming Competition held at Kowloon Park Swimming Pool. After many hard-fought races, particularly in the relay events, the school successfully captured the Inter-school Division I Overall Championship for the 29^th consecutive year. In the process, a number of swimmers were able to achieve their personal best times. Four Inter-school records were set: 3 individual events and one relay event.

In A grade, Toto Wong has set two records in both the 50 and 100m Backstroke events while Ho Nam Wai has set a new record in the 200m Freestyle event. The relay team comprising Hung Nok Yan, Ho Nam Wai, Chan Tsz Ching and Toto Wong was the champion with a new record in the 4x50m freestyle relay event.
