The school community gathered at the Kowloon Park Swimming Pool on Monday afternoon, 25^th September, for the annual Inter-house Swimming Gala. Following the heats on the 20^th September, those in anticipation of spectacular races in the shimmering, blue lanes were in no way disappointed.

The afternoon's events started off with the opening ceremony, with a rousing rendition of the School Hymn. Swimming events then commenced, with onlookers enthusiastically cheering on the participants. The pool arena roared with rhythmic, carefully choreographed chants and slogans as each house delivered their best during the Cheering Competition. Sawyer House was eventually crowned Champion in this event.

Swimmers, spurred on by the energy from the crowd, gave their all, with records broken in the final relay events. In the end, Symons House came First overall, keeping a solid lead through their younger swimmers in both B and C Grades. We were graced with the presence of Mrs. Alice Lo Fok Yuk Chun, Chief School Development Officer of the Yau Tsim Mong district, who graciously presented medals and prizes to our girls as our guest of honour.
