The production of the fund-raising musical 'The King and I' made possible the second stage of the massive school extension projects. Involving over 700 teachers and students in a tight rehearsal schedule, the musical was performed at the Shatin Town Hall on 27^th and 28^th June 1996. The overwhelming support and favourable comments left the School with many fond memories and a significant amount to proceed with Phase II of the extension scheme. The long-awaited opening of the Jockey Club Wing (Building Extension Phase II) came on 19^th December 1996 when the School was honoured with the arrival of the Honourable Donald Tsang, OBE, JP and other distinguished guests, making it a joyous and heart-warming occasion for guests and members of the School.
