On 5^th May 2010, the Diocesan School Community celebrated its 150^th Anniversary with a gala dinner at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Well over 2600 guests attended this sumptuous, moveable feast, spread across 230 banquet tables.  Highlights included a rousing opening dance performance by  600 DGJS students, an opening ceremony officiated by Mr. Henry Tang,  Chief Secretary for Administration, a silent auction, a raffle draw, special performances by popular singer and old girl Miss Karen Mok, a modern dance performance by the DGS Dance Team, and singing by the various Senior School choirs. It was a memorable gathering of the DGS family on a scale unparalleled in her history, one that every DGS member past and present can be proud of.
