Six S4 students participated in an exchange programme with Belilios Public School. During the period of 26^th - 29^th February, BPS students visited our school and we returned the courtesy by paying a return visit from 5^th-7^th of March. Throughout these six days, students from both schools had the opportunity to attend school in each other’s school and take care of one another during lessons. We developed life-long friendships through this once-in-a-lifetime program.

We attended lessons and participated in the extra-curricular activities at BPS, living like a Belilios girl for 3 days. Using textbooks we were not familiar with and making acquaintances with a whole new class of classmates seemed daunting tasks at first, but we were able to adapt to the new environment very quickly, and in fact we enjoyed every single moment throughout those three days. This program was extremely rewarding as we got to explore different campuses and delicacies around the schools, while the lessons were filled with enthusiastic discussions between us and students from our partner school. We bonded with our buddies through walking up and down the stairs and slopes.

After the 6-day immersion, we were able to identify some similarities and differences between the two school.  Whilst both schools aim to provide all-rounded education to students, the learning style and atmosphere of both school may vary. Through sharing and identifying our differences, we learnt to appreciate each other's differences. These differences make us unique, allowing us to get closer within a short period of time.

We strongly treasure the bonds that we have developed and hope that one day this exchange can flourish again. We would like to take this opportunity to thank BPS for co-organizing this exchange program, giving us such a valuable experience to have a taste of being a Belilios girl.
