On Sunday, 15 January 2017, over 150 DGS musicians travelled to Shenzhen Concert Hall and performed at the "Beautiful Sunday" matinee concert, marking the School's third appearance at the venue. The concert was received with great enthusiasm, where girls of the Junior Choir, Concert Band, and String and Symphony Orchestras performed to a full house, conducted and coached by Ms. Dorothy Hui, Miss Grace Chiang, Miss Cindy Chen and Mr. Leung Kin Fung respectively.
