To enable us to realise our vision for the future and to better fulfil our mission, the Council of the Diocesan Girls' School has adopted a strategic plan, which it sees as being critical to the development and success over the next five years for both the Diocesan Girls’ School and Diocesan Girls’ Junior School:

OPERATIONAL CHANGES

Joining the Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS) to allow Junior School students to continue their education in the Senior School up to university entrance level

STRUCTURAL CHANGES

Class expansion in both the Junior School and the Senior School

The Senior School to cater for admission of new students coming into Form One other than from Junior School alone

ENHANCEMENT OF TEACHING AND LEARNING

Streaming of classes into smaller sets

Improving teacher/student ratio

Continuous development of extra-curricular programmes

Strengthening administrative support

OVERHAUL OF EXISTING FACILITIES

Building new facilities to enable the School to operate a 36-Classroom Senior School and a 24-Classroom Junior School

Renovating existing facilities to provide a more suitable venue for all school programmes

Improving recreational areas and promoting a healthy school environment with a green campus

PROVISION OF STUDENT FINANCIAL AID/SCHOLARSHIPS

Offering fee remission to any eligible applicants with financial needs

Recognising scholastic merit
